Written Summary:
First, the obvious.
Repeating myself all over again would be as boring for the reader as it would be
for the reviewer , so , for more general comments regarding the reviewer's feelings
re Mr. Taktarov, please read the reviews for the three previous Taktarov tapes.
A
list of the combinations shown on this video :
1. Choke to arm- lock from
being rear -mounted on opponent in hedgehog position
2. Choke to banana-split
in position as above
3. Arm-lock to toe-hook
4. Knee-bar to squeeze-lock
5.
Finger-choke to ankle-lock/leg-lock
6. Guillotine choke to neck-crank
7. Knee-bar
to leg-lock ,from bottom position, opponent in halfguard
8. Defence against rear
choke; ankle lock to armlock
9. Standing Combinations : hip throw to a kind of
rear double leg takedown
10. Hip Throw to hip throw
11. Hip Throw to double-leg
type takedown
Plus some Randori shown. There are some really nice combinations
shown, which I feel it might be useful to experiment with. Mr. Taktarov, with his
Sambo background, is clearly an expert as far as leg-locks are concerned. Again,
whilst this is not one of the all-time top ten grappling instructionals , there
may be quite a few things to be learnt here.
